Jérôme Patoux, Research Assistant Professor
Jérôme Patoux - Research Assistant Professor

Jérôme Patoux received the Ph.D. degree in atmospheric sciences from the University of Washington, Seattle, U.S.A. in 2003. He is currently a research assistant professor in the Department of Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Washington, where he studies planetary boundary layer modeling, air-sea interaction, and satellite remote sensing applied to a range of phenomena, from extratropical cyclones to air-sea interaction over western boundary currents (WBCs), inertial instabilities, tropical cyclones, and the Madden-Julian Oscillation (MJO).
